Terms of Service for Brighter Days Advising

Welcome to Brighter Days Advising. We provide personalized college admissions consulting services to help students and families navigate the application process with confidence and clarity. By accessing or using our website (brighterdaysadvising.com) or any of our services (“Services”), you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service (“Terms”).

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

2. Services Provided

Brighter Days Advising offers one-on-one advising through structured packages focused on college planning, essay support, application strategy, and scholarship/financial aid guidance. Full service details are provided on our website.

3. Fees and Payment

  • Services are offered as flat-rate packages.

  • Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

  • All payments are non-refundable, except under our 30-day satisfaction guarantee (see Section 5).

4. 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied within 30 days of purchase, you may request a refund. Refund approval is at the sole discretion of Anita, the founder of Brighter Days Advising.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate information for advising purposes

  • Stay engaged throughout the advising process

  • Respect timelines and respond to communication in a timely manner

6. No Guarantees of Admission

While we provide strategic guidance and support, Brighter Days Advising does not and cannot guarantee admission to any specific college, university, or program.

7. Intellectual Property

Any materials, templates, or resources provided by Brighter Days Advising are for your personal use only. They may not be copied, distributed, or reused for commercial purposes without written permission.

8. Communications

By using our Services, you agree to receive occasional emails or text messages related to your consultation, appointment reminders, follow-ups, or service updates. You can opt out at any time by replying “STOP” to text messages or unsubscribing from emails.

SMS Messaging Terms

By providing your mobile number, you agree to receive occasional text messages from Brighter Days Advising related to your consultation, appointments, service updates, or educational tips.

  • Opt-Out: Reply “STOP” to unsubscribe at any time.

  • Help: Reply “HELP” or email us via our website.

  • Message Frequency: Varies based on your interaction.

  • Message and Data Rates: Standard carrier rates may apply.

We do not share your mobile number or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. For full details, refer to our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

Brighter Days Advising shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or any loss of data, academic opportunity, or time related to the use of our Services.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel packages, or terminate advising relationships at any time for violations of these Terms or inappropriate conduct. You may also discontinue service at any time; however, no refunds will be provided outside the 30-day guarantee window.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Contra Costa County, CA.

12. Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with any referenced policies, represent the entire agreement between you and Brighter Days Advising.
